Loved Beyond Measure

Hi! Today’s post is on friendship. Everyone wants good friends and healthy friendships, but it can be hard to find good Christian friends. Forming healthy friendships and leaving toxic friends is super difficult and takes time. However, it is possible. It can hard to discern if your friendships are healthy and even harder to come to terms with it especially if you’ve been friends for awhile with the person. People say if you’re in a bad romantic relationship for a long time it’s hard to let them go, but IMHO it can just as hard when it’s a friendship. Another important step is minimizing time with them whether that’s as small as taking them out of your pinned contacts or even blocking their number. Minimize how much you see them. And focus on other things like the other relationships in your life that matter just as much or improving yourself the list goes on. Many frie4ndships in your life will be seasons so really cherish the friends that stay because true friendship in this cruel world we live in is very rare.

Hi! Today’s post is on school. It’s already march so the school year is about over, but not quite. I feel like these last couple months of school I just want to give up and there’s moments where I wonder what would happen if I dropped out. Of course, I haven’t, but those thoughts are coming up more especially as the end of the school year comes closer and closer. But I’ve noticed that since it seems so close I’m slacking off on school which is so not okay. While no there isn’t necessarily verses that speak about school exactly, we can get pretty close. 1st Corinthians 10:31 says that whatever you do to do it for the glory of God. Philippians 2:14-17 says to do everything without grumbling. If you switch your mindset and see school as an opportunity to share Jesus and not in a terrible light your thoughts change and so will your look about it. Stay strong soldier we’re almost done.

Hi! It’s been a hot minute. Today’s post is a little different. I’m going to do a year in review and what God’s taught me throughout the year. I cannot believe the year’s practically over already it seems as though it just started. But let’s dive in it started really cold and i went to my church’s youth retreat. It really helped me feel closer to God and I really felt His love for me. Then, several months later, I went to church camp and learned how interesting the Bible is when you dissect it and break it down. I’ve been on what feels like a roller coaster when it comes to my faith. I’ve had moment where I feel so close to God and others where I feel detached. I would like to point out that feeling lukewarm is completely normal especially when you just starting in your walk with God. Whether you choose to do something about is up to you. Where I am right now is really reading my Bible and talking to God a lot. I have a very long way to go, but this year was a big year for my faith. I’m not posting this to show off how far I am, because in all honesty I have a LONG way to go. I’m posting so you can really get closer to God and realize other girls are going through similar things. <3

ABOUT ISABELLA

HI! I'm Isabella. This blog is for teen girls wanting to grow their faith and have a Christian community that knows what they're going through. It's geared towards girls 11-16, but if you know somebody older or younger that could benefit, please tell them about it! I wanted to make this because there's not a ton of Christian blogs for teen girls that want some advice and to know that other girls have the same struggles. It's my hope and prayer that we can connect over some of these topics. We may not all agree on these topics, but I hope that the love of the God will brings us together.

-Isabella

You are altogether beautiful my darling.
There is no flaw in you.
Song of Solomon 4:7

Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34
