Loved Beyond Measure

  • Jul 5, 2023

HI! Today’s post is about feeding your brain. You have to keep your guard up when it comes to secular music and tv shows. They can be like mental sugar. They don’t benefit us in any way, and they take up to much space. It can be hard to stop these thoughts, but it’s definitely possible. Just take baby steps. For example, if you listen to tons of rap, you could swap it out for KB or Lecrae instead or instead of Wednesday a Christian movie. Making these changes and establishing new habits can be super difficult, but if you pray on it and ask God to help you can achieve it. There’s nothing wrong with listening to non-Christian music or watching non-Christian shows, but you must be on guard if you start to think differently or act differently. Now don’t get me wrong I’m currently obsessed with Pretty Little Liars, but the key is balancing it out with Godly things.

Hi! Today’s topic is getting out of a spiritual slump. If you aren’t familiar with a spiritual slump, it’s when reading your Bible, prayer, and worship feel forced and like you’re just going through the motions. You can get out—there is hope. I was in a slump not too long ago. It felt miserable and I wanted out so desperately. I got out of it, and you can as well. Everybody feels God’s presence differently. Whether it’s through reading His word, worship, or prayer. But if you’re feeling stuck ask somebody to pray over you to help you out. For me having somebody pray over me and having more than one person get me out was very beneficial. I felt like the fire in me had been reignited. So if you’re in this situation I suggest you ask somebody to pray over you.

HI! Today’s topic is having healthy friendships with guys. So, I feel like before I dive into this topic, I have to confess I only have one guy friend. But it’s really important to have them. You may think I’m crazy, but just hear me out, ok? Here’s some pluses:

They don’t care what you look like.

They’ll be like big brothers.

They are up for pretty much anything when you hang out.

They’ll say something if you’re not acting like yourself.

Now please understand that none of these are automatically guaranteed when you have guy friends, but it will expand your social circle and you could have friends for life. Just don’t ditch your girls because you’ll need them to if the wrong guy breaks your heart

ABOUT ISABELLA

HI! I'm Isabella. This blog is for teen girls wanting to grow their faith and have a Christian community that knows what they're going through. It's geared towards girls 11-16, but if you know somebody older or younger that could benefit, please tell them about it! I wanted to make this because there's not a ton of Christian blogs for teen girls that want some advice and to know that other girls have the same struggles. It's my hope and prayer that we can connect over some of these topics. We may not all agree on these topics, but I hope that the love of the God will brings us together.

-Isabella

You are altogether beautiful my darling.
There is no flaw in you.
Song of Solomon 4:7

Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34
