Loved Beyond Measure

HI! Today’s topic is dressing modestly. It seems like in today’s world everything is meant to show off a little skin. You know the kind of clothes I’m talking about. Crop tops, shorts that show off your butt, and tiny bikinis. God didn’t call us to show off our bodies He made us for our husbands’ eyes only. Now I’m not saying you have to dress in dresses to your ankles or knee length shorts, but knowing what is and isn’t modest is crucial. Does it say in the Bible to show off your body and flaunt it off? No, but it does say that you should dress purely for His glory. Modest clothes come in so many pretty styles from oversized shirts to long float dresses that twirl around you. So go ahead find some cute (modest) clothes that you truly love

HI! Today’s post is about growing closer to God. Isn’t it insane that the Creator of the whole world wants a relationship with you? He could’ve picked somebody more athletic taller or successful, but He picked you flaws and all. Just think about that for a second. Crazy huh? He also longs for a relationship with us. A relationship with God isn’t a one time and then bam it’s perfect like many things in our lives it takes time and effort. But it’s so worth it. Please remember that it’s okay to stumble and not always have perfect faith. Remember the garden? Well since then every Christian has struggled. I also encourage you to try and avoid comparing your faith to others. None of our walks are the same we all have a different path. Here are some ways to became more rooted in your faith:

1.Read your Bible. It doesn’t matter what time of day setting aside a few minutes to read it can seriously affect you. It doesn’t have to be a full-blown Bible study it can just be a couple verses.2.Listen to Christian music. This you can do just about whenever. Some of my personal favorites right now are Brandon Lake, For King and Country, and Anne Wilson.

3.Pray.A lot of the time as people we worry and stress over so much. Giving it to God is SO freeing. Just remember…leave it in HIS hands He’ll take care of it.

4.Just talk to Him. He wants to be your friend so talk to Him like you would a best friend. The best part? You can tell Him talk to him about anything and everything. Gossip, your faith, people that drive you nuts, the list goes on. Personally, having conversations with Him makes me feel so much closer to Him.

Hope this helps!

HI! Today’s topic is periods. If you haven’t had it don’t beat yourself up. God’s got it all under control. But if you do have it, you’re a literal warrior. Don’t let anybody say that your weak because not everyone can bleed for a week and not die. But this is for the girls that haven’t gotten it. It’s okay. It isn’t your fault that it hasn’t happened. When it comes it’ll come and then you’ll have it for years to come. So don’t beat yourself up over it. God didn’t make any mistakes when He made you. He made a beautiful masterpiece.

ABOUT ISABELLA

HI! I'm Isabella. This blog is for teen girls wanting to grow their faith and have a Christian community that knows what they're going through. It's geared towards girls 11-16, but if you know somebody older or younger that could benefit, please tell them about it! I wanted to make this because there's not a ton of Christian blogs for teen girls that want some advice and to know that other girls have the same struggles. It's my hope and prayer that we can connect over some of these topics. We may not all agree on these topics, but I hope that the love of the God will brings us together.

-Isabella

You are altogether beautiful my darling.
There is no flaw in you.
Song of Solomon 4:7

Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34
