Loved Beyond Measure

Helping friends who are struggling isn't easy because they won't always blatantly say that they're struggling. But if you get the feeling they are there's ways you can still help.

  1. You can straight up ask them. Super direct and straight to the point if they don't want to tell you. Don't push the problem. Unless you want a mad friend and nobody wants that.

  2. Pray for them. It's very basic, but prayers very powerful and can and has moved mountains in people's lives. Don't diminish it use it.

  3. Listen. If they do end up telling you observe and see if they want advice or just to vent to somebody. If they tell you don't tell anyone take the secret to the grave, if it might put them in danger tell somebody you trust. Let them know you're there for them no matter what.

Byeee!

When your overwhelmed praying's honestly may not be the first way you think to deal with stress, but God tells us to lay our troubles at His feet. My favorite thing to do is talk to him like I would one of my friends and tell him everything on my mind or write about all the thought bouncing around in my brain.

It doesn't have to be rigid or formal it can just come from the heart. He listens to all prayers and answers them in His timing.

It's almost August (crazy right?) So, here's what I've been learning

  1. Locking in with God is one of the best things you can do while you're in a waiting season.

  2. When something doesn't go your way it's God's way of protecting you. In my experience He had something better in store.

  3. Who you surround yourself with matters. If you're friends with people that don't have goals for themselves or bring others down, you're going to start acting like them.

  4. Not doing the things you enjoy and just doom scrolling aren't going to make you feel better.

ABOUT ISABELLA

HI! I'm Isabella. This blog is for teen girls wanting to grow their faith and have a Christian community that knows what they're going through. It's geared towards girls 11-16, but if you know somebody older or younger that could benefit, please tell them about it! I wanted to make this because there's not a ton of Christian blogs for teen girls that want some advice and to know that other girls have the same struggles. It's my hope and prayer that we can connect over some of these topics. We may not all agree on these topics, but I hope that the love of the God will brings us together.

You are altogether beautiful my darling.
There is no flaw in you.
Song of Solomon 4:7

Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34
