Loved Beyond Measure

Hi! Bettering yourself can seem super difficult because of the society we live in. Everyone is trying to be more put together than the other person and 'glow up' culture can be super toxic. However, growing as a Christian and a person isn't something you'll regret. It just depends on how you approach it. When you're growing you can't expect to go from 1 to 100 in a day. God's still in the middle of growing you don't try rushing His work it never goes well for us. Sometimes, growth looks like being kind when you want to yell at somebody or choosing a sermon or Godly music over secular. Just because you don't see the growth doesn't mean it's not there. You might criticize yourself, but God sees the work you're putting into it. God is not disappointed with you. He loves all His daughters, no matter where they are in their walk with Him. Growing is going to have seasons. Some parts are going to look vastly different than others, and that's okay. You don't need to rush it. God is still molding you.

First off, Happy New Year! Every year people decide to start something to better themselves or break an old habit. It sounds great, but people don't always stick with it. When they make huge goals, they'll vow crazy things to go with it. Like never eating sugar again or running four miles every day. To make sure you don't burn out before February you need to break it down. For example, if you want to start working out start by walking then work your way up to bigger things like lifting. If you want to read more start with reading a book a month or even audio books. (They count, don't listen to the haters.) My point being, don't go zero to a hundred in a day. Start small, ask God for help, and build up to what the original goal was with time.

Hi! As crazy as it is, it's almost 2026. So, with a new year come new goals. I'm not sure what yours are, but here are mine.

  1. Get my license by April. I could go get it in March, but I'd like a little longer to master it a little more and feel more confident.

  2. Get another job. I enjoy my job; I just need more hours that I'm not able to get it where I am currently.

  3. Figure out a fitness routine. I'm halfway there I just need to cement my plans.

  4. Find a mentor. I'd love to have somebody in my life to guide me when I need them.

    Happy New Year loves!! <3

ABOUT ISABELLA

HI! I'm Isabella. This blog is for teen girls wanting to grow their faith and have a Christian community that knows what they're going through. It's geared towards girls 11-16, but if you know somebody older or younger that could benefit, please tell them about it! I wanted to make this because there's not a ton of Christian blogs for teen girls that want some advice and to know that other girls have the same struggles. It's my hope and prayer that we can connect over some of these topics. We may not all agree on these topics, but I hope that the love of the God will brings us together.

-Isabella

You are altogether beautiful my darling.
There is no flaw in you.
Song of Solomon 4:7

Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34
