Loved Beyond Measure

Loving yourself isn't always easy, especially since there's so many perfect looking people online. But when you see yourself through God's eyes that perspective changes. Here's my personal favorite tips for that.

  1. Say one thing you like about yourself out loud each day. If you talk crap about yourself, you'll believe it, and the opposite is also true. It could be something small, but it really does work.

  2. Follow people who love themselves and implement what they do into your life.

  3. Listen to songs that tell you how much God loves you. My personal pick is The Truth by Megan Woods.

It's not easy, but it's worth it. You've got this. <3

There's a whole lot of bad out in the world right now, but in our circles, there can be hope.

  1. Show love in small ways. Love doesn't need to be shown through fireworks, it can be shown through a text or just listening.

  2. Help them through the hard patches. You could be the best of friends, and they still might be going through battles. Supporting them through prayer and telling them you're there for them means so much. They might not be super kind but love them anyway.

  3. Show them God's love through your actions. Being there for them, listening, and offering advice when they want it.

You can control how you act around your friends and how you treat them. You may be the only Bible they ever read. Don't waste that opportunity.

Hi! Prayer can seem hard to navigate. Especially if you grew up in church and hearing fancy prayers, but sometimes when you don't have the mental strength that feels way to intimidating. But no matter if your prayers are long and sounds fancy or desperate and short God hears them. And treats them the same way. He wants to hear from you whether it's for 45 minutes or only 4. There's no wrong way to do it. Just talk to God like you're talking to your friend. He's there for you no matter what.

ABOUT ISABELLA

HI! I'm Isabella. This blog is for teen girls wanting to grow their faith and have a Christian community that knows what they're going through. It's geared towards girls 11-16, but if you know somebody older or younger that could benefit, please tell them about it! I wanted to make this because there's not a ton of Christian blogs for teen girls that want some advice and to know that other girls have the same struggles. It's my hope and prayer that we can connect over some of these topics. We may not all agree on these topics, but I hope that the love of the God will brings us together.

You are altogether beautiful my darling.
There is no flaw in you.
Song of Solomon 4:7

Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34
