Loved Beyond Measure

HI! Today’s topic is dressing modestly. It seems like in today’s world everything is meant to show off a little skin. You know the kind of clothes I’m talking about. Crop tops, shorts that show off your butt, and tiny bikinis. God didn’t call us to show off our bodies He made us for our husbands’ eyes only. Now I’m not saying you have to dress in dresses to your ankles or knee length shorts, but knowing what is and isn’t modest is crucial. Does it say in the Bible to show off your body and flaunt it off? No, but it does say that you should dress purely for His glory. Modest clothes come in so many pretty styles from oversized shirts to long float dresses that twirl around you. So go ahead find some cute (modest) clothes that you truly love

HI! Today’s topic is friendship. It can be really difficult finding and making good Christian friends. So today we’re talking about making and keeping good Christian friends. We all want good Christian friends to build us up and encourage each other. Anybody else want those Pinterest godly friendships? Just me okay. One of the best ways to make godly friends, of course, is at your church youth group if your church doesn’t have one or you don’t like it, finding one you love is a really great step to take. So, you took the first big leap. Now what? Talk to people! If you’re anything like me talking to new people and making new friends outside the ones you’ve known for years can be a scary task, but don’t worry! Asking somebody who they think you’d click with. Getting involved at things at that church can be an also be an amazing way to meet new people. So, you’ve made friends now what? Get to know them, their passions, hobbies etc. Play 20 questions meet up for coffee or ice cream invite them over to your house you get the picture. Connecting and making memories is such an amazing part of friendship! Just make sure you find the right ones not the toxic ones or the non-Christians. Whether you’re finding new friends or even just expanding your friend group, pick your friends wisely. Would you be friends with somebody who constantly puts you and your beliefs down? Of course not! So go make new Christian friends! It’ll be worth it, trust me. 😉

HI! Today’s topic is eating healthy.

I totally get it can be super hard to eat healthy when there’s so much not amazing food for you that tastes delicious. I personally have a major sweet tooth I’ve been trying to curb. But what does the Bible say about eating healthy?

1 Corinthians 6:20

You were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.

This verse is saying that since God bought you at a price you are to honor God by eating good food and treating your body like a temple.

But it can be really difficult to always eat healthy. Totally understandable.

A tip I would have for you is to avoid biting off more than you can chew instead of deciding one day to never eat chips and ice cream again try eating a fruit or a vegetable with each meal or making a smoothie for lunch. There’s so many recipes that can help you achieve healthy eating. And if you eat a medium fry? Don’t beat yourself up. Breaking habits and starting good ones take time.

ABOUT ISABELLA

HI! I'm Isabella. This blog is for teen girls wanting to grow their faith and have a Christian community that knows what they're going through. It's geared towards girls 11-16, but if you know somebody older or younger that could benefit, please tell them about it! I wanted to make this because there's not a ton of Christian blogs for teen girls that want some advice and to know that other girls have the same struggles. It's my hope and prayer that we can connect over some of these topics. We may not all agree on these topics, but I hope that the love of the God will brings us together.

-Isabella

You are altogether beautiful my darling.
There is no flaw in you.
Song of Solomon 4:7

Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34
