Emotional Rollercoaster

Hi! Today’s post is about happiness and feeling content. I think it’s safe to say everyone’s felt left out of a group or unhappy at least a few times in their lives. But how do you deal with these emotions? I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I’m still figuring it out. But first let’s look at some ways we shouldn’t. Turning to social media or drugs obviously. But that sort sounds cliché it seems like a Sunday-school answer, right? Well, they’re on the right track. Social media can make the problem even worse. Since most people only post the highlights of there lives you never see the bad days. So how can you work through them? Naps. There’s a chance that the problem will be smaller after some sleep. Journaling. Writing out all those emotions can help you process it better. Letting it all out. Sometimes you just need to fall apart before you tackle a problem and there’s nothing wrong with that. Even David, the Psalmist, could be found crying out to God pretty frequently. And if these feelings are around a lot, it may be a good idea to think about Christian counseling. It won’t make you a ‘pyscho’. Love you.
