Quiet Time

Hi! I wanted to share what my quiet time currently looks like. I personally like to do mine a little after I've woken up to start my day off. I pray for understanding and that the Holy Spirit would reveal things to me that maybe I've never noticed before. Then I dive right into that day's chapter. I'm currently in Jermiah and it's seriously a beast. Sometimes I read it several times before moving on. I also read the little side notes if there's any. Once I'm finished reading, I use the S.O.A.P method for journaling which stands for scripture, observation, application, and prayer. My observations can look like something that happened in that chapter or when specific verses jump out at me. Application can be whether a verse or something the person did is noteworthy. Then prayer is relatively self-explanatory, and I wrote where I read.

Happy quiet time!

Lovely entry! Journaling and reflecting on my faith is one of my favorite quiet time activities as well!
